The imported stuff from the east compared to the domestic stuff from the west. nothing in particular just wanting to see if the "eastern" stuff is properly fluxed and welded since it is cheap, wasn't damascus a syrian (or thought to be) invention? don't recall will have to read up on it again.

I'd like to see how damascus holds up (in general) and see how big a difference is between the two sides making it.
