That knife is my old skinning blade from way back.

It slices extremely well and takes a hair popping edge very fast.

I've never seen one before. I had an old Western brand that looked a little similar to it. I don't know what happened to it.

I bought it at a hardware store for like $40 when I was like 14 if I remember correctly.

I guess It does. :D I mowed yards but I never got much for it. It was better that nothing though. I was never able to buy anything good with the money. I never had enough to buy knives. I think I just put most of it in video games at the arcade. Man things have changed. :D

Yeah, I did the mowing thing too for awhile, but as you said it doesn't pay much. :)

I never had enough yards to mow. Most everyone in the neighborhood did it themselves.

A lot of them do it themselves to get away from the wife for awhile. :D

happy time to remember !
in my childhood about 20 years ago , i made knives by myself, some time i can not find anyting but a big nail , then put it
on the rail way rolling it to a shape of sheet , and grinded it to a so called knife .

I had a Puma Hunter's Pal that met the same fate. No idea where that knife went.

My first fixed blade was a Western knife. Probably purchased at a hardware store. Anyway, it was a Christmas present. Movers stole it from when I was still a kid. I recently bought a new one (NOS) and paid too much for it.
