That looks like it could be a 780 Triflex (definitely a "Craftsmen's" 700 series). The 780 is one of my favorites. Super freakin' sharp yet tough with its differentially heat treated blade. :rockon:

Impressive! I guess I should upgrade my Mora knives from light camp duty to heavy camp duty. I have a few of that same knife. I usually try to stay within what I think the knife's limits are, its nice to know what it'll do by watching the video.

I thought it might be the 760...hard to tell if the handle is green or black.


Pretty impressive that he was able to pound the knife into the tree and stand on it....I know that several people have broken them trying to do that.

Yeah, that's what threw me too. I watched it again and still can't tell. :confused:
