Check out www.heezy.com for a comparison with the LMF II.

Having owned the larger version I checked out the Prodigy in a local shop a few weeks ago.
it is definitely smaller/lighter in comparison. Same steel as its big brother.
Sheath has the screws on the back instead of the velcro fastener.
All in all, I was pretty impressed and the price ($45) was right.
I may add one to my collection.

was the prodigy handle comfortable?

I like the handle on the LMF II, but it is kind of heavy.

It fit my hand better than the LMF II as the Prodigy is absent that pointed/heavy pommel.
Instead, it sports what could be called a glass breaker (drilled to accept a layard).
