Did a little short field test this morning, some chopping and battening through a log with lots of knots in it. It did very well even on the frozen wood. You can see the blade flexing, but it straightened out perfect once I removed it.

What is the thickness on that blade, 3/16? Nice pics.

INFI do flex? I thought it was made with real Chuck Norris spits and hairs in it, and thus having it's mighty karate power, and breaking anything in it's path without the slightest sweatdrop.
Nice pictures anyway, and no need to comment anymore about the knife: it speaks for itself.

Yes INFI will flex. :D
I guess the weather cleared up some. :D Good to see it in action. when chopping do you feel the blade flex a lot ? This is something that really bothered me with the RTAK II.(same thickness) In comparison to my CS kukri machete I don't feel it flex much although it is a very long thin blade. I guess the curved design limits this. I know INFI is very durable and can be flexed a lot without failure, it's just one of those little issues that bother me during use. Great photos yet again. :thumb:

Nope, I didn't feel it flex at all, it felt very good while chopping, and that was on frozen wood so it was like chopping a brick. :D
Yeah we are going to have a few days of sun then back to rain and ice. :(

Yes, they really very nice, I reprofiled one of them to an air bleeding 30 degree mirror polished edge, it's so sharp it would split atoms.:thumb: :D
