I forgot to post here first. I'm on BF same username.

I love Noss's destruction tests, they're brutal but impartial.

I used my first post while surfing around the forum and got onboard with a thread that was very interesting.

I saw you're a martial artist, is there a professional reason for that? Or is it just for yourself or as a past-time or passion?

And where do you come from?

I'm from Ohio. I live near the Great Lake and love the water.

I started martial arts in the USMC for all of the wrong reasons, wanting to be tough and stuff like that. By the time I realized my skill set had gone beyond that, it didn't seem important anymore.

I train because it keeps me sane and calm. No more schools or for money anymore. I've taught for money but that can be an anchor around your neck. It's more fun to train & teach at other people's clubs - there's always something more to learn.

I came to join this forum because of the destruction tests, was checking out the "lay of the land" and that thread invoked an immediate, primal response to pile on the Philster. :)

You are "the man"....I love your destruction tests and your hockey mask personna. :rockon:

I can think of nothing worse than fighting you - armed with a large fixed blade knife.

You have to be in great shape, you usually aren't even breathing hard after chopping through several bricks or cinder blocks, when you make your remarks!

Keep up the great work. I hope to see some destruction tests of hard use folders, that would be interesting.
