View Full Version : Busse FFBM vs Himalayan Imports 18" AK Chopping Video.

What I have done here is take the Busse FFBM, the Best Bowie style chopper and put it against the Himalayan Imports 18" AK. Now the HI AK is 1/2" thick and weighs twice what the Busse FFBM does and it's a Khurki. This video shows what the next step up in choppers does.

Those Hi's are serious business. I have a CAK, it's a brutal chopper for sure. The edge retention is not the best but they are easy to sharpen.

I did another one comparing the FFBM to the 16.5" CAK, it's uploading now. :)

It's closer because the CAK is lighter than the FFBM. ;)

Does it make any difference when you handle it? I mean, we know full tang is more tough, but do you feel more "secure" to chop really hard?

Khurkies are no joke man and the ones from HI are the best there is. :thumb:
