Took out the RMD today and did a short field test. It's going to be an awesome camp blade, one that you would carry in addition to a large chopper. Being it's a very light blade for it's size at just 10.7 oz it's not a chopper. It batons extremely well though and the steel holds an edge very well.

Thanks man, not bad for a 10.7 oz knife with a 5.5" blade that's 3/16" thick. :D

This is my overview after. :)

1st off it love this blade, it's feels very nice in hand and the balance is excellent. They did an outstanding job on rounding off the scales so there weren't any hot spots.

The Sage Coating seems to wear faster than Busse though as you can see here in the 2 photos. It's not a big deal to me as I like the coating to wear, but it's noteworthy IMO.

SR101 steel holds an edge extremely well after I did some chopping and batoning with the blade along with some cutting. I took these 2 photos to show how sharp the knife is after my testing. It still slices newspaper like nothing, this is very noteworthy as it shows how well the steel holds an edge.
