Hi all,

Not much to say. I'm 32, I use and enjoy knives since about 20 years (yes, the cheap Rambo knife won in an amusement park (sorry if I'm not using the correct words...), I used them while backpacking in the French Alps (I live there).

I got several Fallkniven knives, but sold them all for a custom camp knife that I've drawn, and a good knife maker made it for me, so I'm really glad.

I've always been into fix blade, but always had a folder with me, currently a Safety Orange Military. Certainly not the best ever, but a good cheap little knife, I like it a lot, but lately I felt like I would like a really reliable folder, and by reliable, I meant Reliable !

So I gave it a shot here, and only found a test for the EXTREMA RATIO RAO, which was on my selection list. The test done seemed to reveal no flaw, but lately I saw another test video, and after a 5 minutes hard test there was some major blade play, so I was very disappointed...

So I came to this forum to discuss heavy duty folders with you. I know heavy duty is for fix blade, but I'd love to find a good quality heavy duty folder.

Cheers

NiKO

you are welcome , man.

ST,ER,ZT they offer monster folder knives , but they are too expensive to me and not my type.
now, i seek a fix small skeleton blade , i think swamprat or RAT is not a bad choice.

PS: i just bought a ganzo folder knife , from my local market , and that thing cost me about 25$ . it looks strong the blade with thickness of 4.5mm.
this pic is not mine, just get from google search,http://www.feiqu.com/attachments/month_1002/20100206_726e546c73509f7a500dSoKrnS2GrsL6.jpg

Thanks all !

Nice little knife your Ganzo !

I did not open a new thread for heavy duty folders already as I'm looking at all that was posted here first. Don't want to create redundant discussion.

I'm learning... !
