Hi guys, first poster here.I just saw this video on youtube:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=BItmW98M9mc&feature=related
There he says that the 0100 would be nearly indestructible, and I really think it would be pretty interesting to test that. Here is some additional information on the knife http://ztknives.com/productdetails.php?id=7 . I' m especially interested if that tool steel, 3V, really holds up to what the guy said in the video.Sure the knife is a bit expensive, but I' m sure you can find it for alot cheaper than it says on the site.I hope this will be possible!

Wow thats a cool knife! I really like the design, and would love to see a test, but man, at almost $300, its sure not cheap. For that price I could get a similar sized scrap yard and maybe even a busse knife, so it will have to do really well in the test before I considered buying one.

Yes it is very expensive, I found it on NewGraham.com for 236$, which is still alot, but a bit cheaper.http://www.newgraham.com/detail.aspx?ID=7865
miro44one: Welcome to the new forum.
Very interesting video. They say in the video you can use it as a pry bar you can beat the hell out of it to cut cables and it will take it.He shot it with a GLock you can tear off the top of a car. Use it as a step to climb over a wall. Oh-Man, ZT knives is just begging to be tested.!!!
Tho one thing about this is the video of them making these claims. So they are not going to be able to come back and say it was needlessly abused during the test, if the knife fails quick.

yeah, since you are don't really need to do these things (you know, like its a "test" so...) they could argu that you personnaly didn't have to...
but the people they intend to sell it to sure do have to rely on the knife to do what it says it can do!
I def. think this it is a must test.
3v does have great toughness and edge holding (from what I've seen on crubicle serivices) and it seems like they have put alot of thought into what steel to use and things like that and arn't just throwing some BS out there.
(ex: they double caoted it because they knew one of it's downfalls was corrosion resistance. although I'm sure it's a little over hyped)
so yeah...
think your gonna shoot it with your glock???
:D

Man, I hope you can test it. That would be awesome. The more I look at it the more I like the design.
I found a lightly used one on the bladeforums exchange for $200, This is the cheapest I've seen one anywhere.

BTW check out the ZT 0400 folder. Its one of the coolest looking knives that I've ever seen.

EMF: LOL if I post on blade forums I shot it with my Glock and it broke or shattered there will be a flame war. I have the a company Representative on video saying he did and it took the bullet so they won't have much of an argument in my book.
miro44one: I am very interested in test one. Especially after seeing the video. It's not to often that I see a company make public claims like this.
Gman1128: I like the design also. That folder is interesting looking . Thanks for the link.

hi all new member here I'm always interested with the zt 0100 on how good it is. Will this be tested anytime soon?
tank00: Welcome to the forum. No I don't have any current plans to test one at the moment. I still have a few knives to finish before I take a break for a while. This one fell through the cracks due to money and time. I may test one later but it won't be soon.
