Yo shooter, nice utilitarian collection!

You have a couple of Cold Steels that i'm not sure I would have gotten (like the SRK) but in the big picture of your collection you have a knife for almost every occasion and purpose.

Great work!

Thanks Cardio Ya that SRK and Recon tanto are pretty old. 5 years or so the Carbon V blades. Their ok, their light and get the job done, and sharpen easy. Would not be my first choice on a new buy though.

They have taken some pretty good abuse and held up good. Handles leave a little to be desired.

Ill do a posting with the id's to all the knives, pretty tired last night must of forgot :p

Nice blanket.
I keep two of those in the back of my SUV.

The germans know how to make them.

Nothing gets under my skin like a unused knife just sitting around collecting dust or buried in a drawer somewhere :headbang: The only exception i can see is ordering doubles, with one just awaiting its chance to shine at glory!!!

Macgregor got to love the surplus gear. Have a couple of stores in my area that carry a large amount of old surplus military gear. some used some new. most all is great quality and its cheap cheap cheap. That blanket was less that $5. How can you go wrong. Its made its way on a bunch of camping trips and its toasty warm. I also keep one it the vehicle sometimes two, along with a whole bunch of other gear.

Moving on this topic, i think it would be a good idea to start a survival/preparedness thread. Discussing gear, uses and or experience, techniques etc...
