Thanks Noss. Na i generally stay far away from the parts where they shoot back. For those occasions packing a Sig 220 is the best answer :D These tools mostly see range work, and the sand pit outing. I have used both on game. The 5.45mm AK works quite well on coyote using a 5rd mag and my 6x russian scope with ill reticle. One shot is all that is required, no need for semi fire. The M-39 with 180gr prohunters make for an accurate and deadly choice for beast of deer and black bear. Although those shooting lanes are rare, except for the powerline or corn field areas.

If collapse of western civilization ever occurs i can rest comfortable, knowing i will be able to protect the neighborhood from civil unrest. Its also good knowing a National guard and Army Reserve outpost lay not far away. :o

When civilization does breakdown you will have it covered. The ones with the brains an the biggest guns will survive.

Very nice. I like that AK. Here's mine.

Russian Saiga chambered in .223. Chrome lined barrel. It was stock when I bought it.
I pulled the old stock set.
Removed the trigger group, and cut new openings to move the trigger forward.
Installed a Red Star Arms fully adjustable trigger group.
Drilled and tapped the trunion and installed a feed ramp to accept different magazines.
Added a Galil front stock, a six position rear, and an ergo pistol grip.
I plan on adding a peep sight soon.

It'll take Galil .223, Weiger .223, and Bulgi 5.45 mags with a little modding to the mags.

THe Arctic Super Soaker has a Pump Action 1 L reservoir with the ability to add WHOLE CHUNKS OF ICE!

Nothing can withstand the chilling shock of ICY WATER on any day, Hot summer or Winter all will freeze before it.

I'm modifying it with a duct tape shoulder harness and a toilet paper tube scope.

Foooo sheeez

Sharpshooter996, do you ever use your AR-15 for hunting? I have taken deer and coyotes with my AK-47, but I have never tried hunting with my AR yet. I think .223 is a little light for deer but it should be great for varmints.

Na, not a good choice for hunting. At least my AR configuration. I have to say i have sold this gun. In a bolt gun or varmint set up AR -15 it is good for varmint, but not anything bigger. I would only recommend an AR type for hunting were you would need to be taking follow up shots and have multiple targets. Like mid west prairie dog or ground squirrel shooting. For a single game shot, a bolt gun would be much wiser.

Just my 2cents from experience with both guns.

That's pretty much how I feel, although there are some good AR rifles out there that could be used for hunting. I don't think you need all that extra weight though. A good bolt gun can weigh much less and cost much less.

I have heard that prairie dog hunting is loads of fun with an AR, however.:thumb:
