What's up?
I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a cordura belt sheath for the Spyderco Rescue Assist.
It's about 5 inches long, .75 inches deep, and about 2 inches wide.
I was thinking about the Lone Wolf sheath:

Or I was looking at the Extrema Ratio RAO sheath but I'm unable to find just the sheath for sale.
Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks!

swatmc is there a reason you dont use or want to use to pocket clip on the knife?
If I was going to use an alternate carry option, i might suggest a custom made Kydex or Leather option. they are both functional and cool. If you do a search online you are sure to find a bunch. Thats just my 2 cents.

Sharpshooter,
Well, sometimes I'll be taking the knife on a boat and I'd prefer to have a little more retention with a sheath as opposed to a clip. I took my Spyderco Endura on a boat a few years back and the knife just vanished.
Also, it's a really big knife and don't want to advertise to everyone that I'm carrying it around.
Do you have any suggestions for a custom sheath?
Thanks for the response.

swatmc, i see. sorry for the loss of the Endura. That has happened to me also with a folder once. Thats why i like to carry backups and usually a fixed. (not as easy to loose) Lol. I had http://www.mnsi.net/~nbtnoel/ make me a kydex sheath for my RAT-7. its very nice. You prob dont want to use leather if you are going to be around water. but if you do http://www.armoralleather.com/ makes some very nice ones. Their are many others out their that make great sheaths too. As far as a nylon sheath goes im sure their is something out their for another knife that would work great. I have a Gerber Gator that come with such one that would prob work great. Good luck on your search

well looks like you got some good options. just one not you will have to send your knife out to get fitted with most of these sheaths, Kydex at least. just something to know.

your welcome, thats what we are here for :thumb:
Normark would be agood source for a kydex sheath.
Might be a good idea to use a dummy cord...er...lanyard (that's it!) when yer on a boat.
