I used to have the .40 XD. Sold it and bought 2 of the XD .45 service. Love them and always keep one loaded next to the bed with tactical light. It is a great shooter, accurate and fits my hand like a glove!

I like the XD .45 myself. If I bought one this would be it.

Yeah Noss, the .45 XD holds one more round in the magazine than the .40, has a better finish (much more rust, corrosion resistant) than the .40 and ya just can't argue with 14 rounds of .45 acp.

Cameraman you know I was forced to say those things :eek: Noss told me if i did not he was coming for my Busse. Hey, I'm working, but I do get a little time to relax....and I've spent it either on this forum, or looking a little too intensely at the Springfield Armory website. Now, I am truly torn. I don't know whether I am gonna get the XD 40 subcompact, the new XDm (40 or 45, I haven't decided), or say fuck it and get one of their 1911's (they have some for about the same price as the XD's)....I am really, really undecided. I don't think there is a wrong choice, so I will just keep mulling it over for the time being, until I get back to dry land.
