Hello,
this is Nexus Tito, the 3rd Nexus.

The first Nexus is Nexus 7, a multipurpose knife with Bohler K360 Isodur (ESR Tecnology) steel and handle on one only solid piece of Nema Fr4 (fire proof G10).

The second Nexus is Nexus Caio, a camp knife on A8 modfied steel (165 J at 59 Hrc), with triple tempering. Some person tell that it is better than INFI. Handle is on one solid piece of Nema Fr5 (fireproof G11). Semi full tang.

Nexus Tito is on modified A8 with G10 scale (full tang eith hole to decrease the weight).

You can find more videos and information here.

Been looking at these knives at different places on the web. from what i see and the demo tests they look pretty impressive. Dont know if im in love with the handles though. And some make reference to Busse or better. Need quite a bit more proof to make any agreements with that. For my American $ ill be happy with INFI. :D :thumb:

Yes, is not simple make a comparison to Busse and Nexus.

I have more Nexus than Busse (I have only the Busse ASH 1, DC, magnum G10) but I "love" Nexus.

Busse are great knives (with really great steel), but the last models are or too big or too heavy (of both) for me.

Man I hope I can get one. The Nexus Caio is really close to the Ratweiler.

Ooh would that make a good comparison test. :D

That and CnD just might happen to score a Chopweiler.

In that case we would have a line up of the RD7, RW, CW, and a Caio. :D

Could be interesting.... I reserve judgement however =)

Hello,
i'm sorry but Nexus Caio are not avaiable. Are all sold, like Nexus 7.

Nexus was "custom knives" designed by Michele Molletta and was produced only on 80 piece (74 for Nexus 7 and 80 for Nexus Caio. 40 with False edge and 40 without falsedge).

Some numbers of Nexus Tito and probably for next Nexus taht will be relased.

Now the only Nexus avaiable is Nexus Tito. Maibe you can find a Nexus Caio by the owner or by the "market" of the forums.

Ah, I'm italian.

They don't look too bad. But I would like to see how they fare under Noss's gentle hand :D

Oh, i think you remain pleasantly surprise to the toughness of Nexus.

You have seen all the test of Tito? Batong, chopping on a hard brick? On a nail? On the metal?

I'm really sorry because all Nexus Caio and Nexus 7 are sold but, if we are so interested or if Nos is interested there are avaiable some Nexus Tito and on the end of the year (or for beginning of new year) will be relased the Nexus Centurione, a Nexus Caio improved.

Regards.

That's my baby! I love this knife. I'm getting different handle scales put on the knife. I'll post pics when I get the knife back. I'm going with the original material that nexus put on the Nexus 7.
