Won't be here for a couple days, but I thought I'd post some preliminary pics before I got them.

Rat-7 with dark earth coating and custom scales.

Custom made by Whiskers over on KF.
Blade is ATS-34, convexed. Scales are ivory paper micarta with mosaic pins.

I picked it up from Darkforster on BF. I think he did the scales. I just got it a few minutes ago, and really like the way the scales feel. I'm probably going to strip the coating though.

Haven't got the custom yet, but I've been fiddling with the Rat. I stripped the coating on the blade, but left it on the spine and tang. I still need to polish it and thin out the bevel a bit more. I also stripped the dark earth coating from the scales. Look what was underneath. :cool:

I like it, but I'm not fond of the serrations. I may put it back on the exchange later. Not sure though.

By the way, it's D2.

You could always swap the scales with another RAT-7 or even an rc-6.
