Machete jungle knife?
Man that is a monster not a knife.
Makes me remember the machete used in the movie predator 1.

Can you post up the specific link with it on? all my Busse co links aren't listing it as on...

A forums post says that it's supposed to take the spot of the Skinny Ash, but i dont see any changes...

I didn't. I can't at the moment because I have all my money tied up in a test for this site.
If they are around long enough I plan to get one. I just can't at this very moment. :(

I know what you mean Noss. If i had the dough i would be all over one. What a nice knife. Shortly after you posted the destruction test on the FFBM i saw an article in a outdoors mag that had top 10 picks of best knives ever made. They were picked by category and needless to say the FFBM was top of its. Others that were included were custom made offerings that were even more $. So as ive said before for the $ a Busse really is worthy. They are just designed so well overall. yes they are heavy, but it is all for function and function they sure do. :thumb:

If i ever strike it rich maybe ill become a HOG!!! :D

It took the place of the ASH-1.

As impressive as the NMFBM is, the knife will have limited utility. How do I know this before testing? It will be too heavy for a good machete and too big for an all-around belt knife. Should be an impressive chopper, though.

Horn Dog: Welcome to the forum.

My main use for the NMFBM will be chopping. So it should be great. The knives of mine that get used when I'm outdoors are my choppers. I always carry a chopper of some type. I do everything with my CGFBM in the field. For me bigger is better.

I guess HD is gonna stick with the lg8ihter DFLE for now.
(welcome to the forum vic!)

noss, the cg's are less expensive than an ffbm on the secondary market.
maybe you can sell your ffbme to get it. :D

I guess I could. I plan to keep the FFBM though. I still have not used it yet in the field. I just haven't had time to get away from the world.

Man I hope they're here 'til Xmas. I could seriously use one to chop down a couple of Christmas trees. :D

That is correct Sharp ! Till X-mas would be great, but am afraid it will last only one month at longest. I would love to have one black with black canvas for 467$ but its very big price for me at this moment. Plus 30% for custom duty and for international shipping. I can't afford it now.

Jerry probably ran out of INFI making these monsters and had to cut it short.

Just a heads up, Jerry said less then 10 days. Translation = might be as low as 1 day or as high as 9 days left. But it give a better time frame the Jerry's famous "two weeks" :thumb:

Maybe so. :D

Apparently I was right. It seems the next offering will be on the small side. Maybe made from leftovers of the NMFBM?:D
