I would like to ask Noss if he would be able to do more field test on knives before he destroys them and sends them to the grave. Their are some knives i would really like to see how they would functioned in this environment before they gave the ultimate sacrifice. Thanks Noss for all your work. I know this would be more time consuming, but i think most members would love to see it.

I know it would not be right to do this post with out a knife suggestion. So here are (2) a folder and a fixed.

Folder- Lone Wolf T2, or Zero Tolerance 0200

Fixed- A 5/16 thick Cold Steel in SK-5. Gurkha Kukri, Recon Scout or Trail Mater. The Kukri being the favorite here.

Yeah. I plan do some field testing here soon. Summer is almost over. It should be getting cooler soon. :thumb: so my camping season is coming back up.

Good field test suggestions.

Yeah it's hot here. I don't like camping in 100 degree temperatures when I have very little
access to water. This is the case where I go do the field tests. The water is also very poor quality. I filter it then Iodine it and sometimes boil it. I can only pump about 3 liters before I have to dismantle my filter and clean it.

That does sound like a pain in the butt in regards to the water situation. cooler weather is around the corner. Just be glade you dont get buried under several feet + of snow each winter starting in November. That makes for some difficult outings. Take care my friend.
