As requested (or tricked into), I have decided to show the knives that I own. I've gone through many, lost a few, traded, sold, etc.
So far I've lost my RTAK, my Benchmade Ascent, and my Grunt. Their gone.
I've traded my Spyderco Endura, my DMDC, and Microtech Mini Socom elite.
I've sold my SOCOM Elite in S90V and Benchmade Emerson 970.
So all this results and this:

And yep that Muskrat Man and YKLE have Patinas but I'll do a separate post on that.
That and my Leatherman Squirt and Delica are in the Pelican PSK.
It ain't much, but it'll suffice for me. Since I got my sawvivor I'm only gonna be using my Ratweiler, Muskrat Man, and Meadowlark. Along with my Leatherman Charge.
As far as EDC, usually just my SUBCOM. Occasionally I might switch it with the SOG Flash II.
Since I got my Sawvivor, I'm gonna

Badass collection, bro. And, it is always so good to see a Busse with some battle scars.
Sharp, I salute you .
THE EFFING CAMERAMAN
Nice pile of steel. I really like that Muskrat Man.
Awesome collection of users. How does that long tops perform ?

Dame Sharp.....
I was right to make you post... that is a NICE collection.
(proving once again your LIEZ about being knife empovrished...)
Ok Question time:
How do you like that Gerber where you can switch blades? TBH seems like an Uber weird idea....
Also how come a guy like you doesn't have a Barkie or a FK? At least get yourself a WM1 as a neck knife or a U2...
Your LMF looks well used; when i'm done work on mine I think I might take some of the coating off. I'll post pics so you can see if you want to do something like that too...
(Still grinding alas)
Anyway, really nice pile of steel, my final question: are you the only one in your family that's into knives if not, how do you hide them? =D

Thanks, You guys. I honestly don't think you can call it a collection once all of them have been nearly used to death. :D
Noss,
The TOPs was (I don't use it anymore) pretty good. It WAS my first knife and at the time I though it was the sweetest hunk of steel. CnD and I just went crazy prying hunks of oak and pine out. The tip however, has a lot left to be desired. It's a Tanto Point and is weak. CnD actually broke the tip doing some tip work. The penetration with the Tanto, though, is just amazing, I've been able to stab it through more than half an inch of solid ply wood (not plates like the CS videos)
The back saw worked pretty well also. It was extremely good at making notches.
Other than that I don't use it anymore (tip gone), I don't feel like sending it in because, while it might not have any monetary value, it has a lot of sentimental value. Plus, it's given me my nastiest cut. :D
Thecarotidpulse,
The Gerber Switch-a-roo is, IMHO, a good idea however Gerber executed it poorly. There is a lot of blade play (up-down, left-right). Though the quality of the knife blades are excellent. The Sandvik steel is just exceptionally sharp.
As for the reason of why I don't have any Barkie or FK is I guess I never really cared for either. BRKT is starting to dawn on me and I might have to get one of their Auroras, but other than that, my Busses will do. FK, I guess I just can't stand textured Thermorun Handles and their extended tang. Though their new PHK is pretty sweet and the 3G steel would be pretty interesting to try out.
All the coating loss of the LMFII is from use. :D
And to answer your last question, Yes, I am the only knife nut :D. That and I don't hide them (although I do have a tool box to transport them), you should see my desk. :D
EMF,
Not really, I don't trade as often as other people.
But, yep the MMs are great. It's a high scandi grind with a micro bevel and cuts really well. L6 tool steel, good stuff and takes a patina well. :D
They're priced really well, too, go check out his website. He's got a bushcraft model as well. It's basically the same knife but with a drop point blade shape.

Bro, didn't know you've gone CLB also :D You might wanna give Trance PE or droppoint a try as EDC, Hyper PE is also good. I bent the clip on my Flash I and too lazy to re-bend it, still regretting not getting the II.
Is the Ontario RAT Model 1 the first production run? The first ones were manufactured in the US of the A, ergo high price. The new ones are made in Taiwan, and go for 30-ish $. Lesser quality, still a good folder.
And why the F no RAT RC-3/4???
Anyway, the AO Kershaws, Rukus were on my list, but after I've handled them they felt right off. More a folder guy myself, and lately Böker frenzy, especially CLB:D:D:D
Still need a multitool, almost waited a year for SOG PowerAssist. Temped by the Charge many times, but my guts are telling me the SOG is worth waiting.

CLB is a great line of knives. I really like them. I kinda wish they would do a high end version, but that would defeat the purpose (titanium, g-10, s30v, etc)
I might have to try one out, but for now I'm good on folders. I went for folders when I first started but it turns out that I'm beginning to get more fixed blades. :D
And yep, the RAT-1 is a First Production run. I still got it for 30 but the MSRP was like 120.
Personally, I really like the Rukus. Premium materials in a very useful configuration, not to mention pretty classy with the G-10 and Micarta, plus you can get other inserts (carbon fiber, silver-twill g10, rosewood, etc) But man have you gone crazy with Boker.
As for a multitool, I would just get a charge to start with. They come in real handy. Get a SOG later. I don't believe there that expensive.

Spydie CLB Lava has all SS construction, VG-10 blade. Handled it, love it, high on my list, not high enough though. Enough bugging at Böker for Ti, G-10, S30V upgrades.
I saw a first run RAT-1 at the store, they ask 120€ for it - not worth the moolah at that price point. As for the Rukus, too fancy and delicate feel and apparence, good blade nonetheless.
What's wrong ab00t going mad with Böker?:D Got all those in less than a year:eek::rockon:
A multi doesn't not have my priority at the moment, and gotta be more careful with the funds.
This sucker coming in 2/3 weeks.

Sharp you have some nice nice knives. They are all right up my ally. I think we share share some common taste. :D I also have been updating my portfolio as of late. I just want to comment on some of my favorite i saw in your collection.
Sawvivor- I love this saw, Sweet sweet sweet.
Rat 1 Folder- i like the satin blade. black comes off way to easy, but still outstanding. Best value to quality i have seen in a long time.
Leatherman Charge- A+ on this well executed tool. I want to sell my super tool and upgrade to this one.
O and i did not forget the Ratweiler. You know my feelings on this one.
Glade to see some use on these too. thanks again Sharp

MOI,
That's pretty sweet. I really like the thicker tang on the Dagger. Got some pretty good steel as well. That N690 is a definite bump up from the carbon steel.
SS,
We might share some common taste. Though I don't know anyone who wouldn't want a Ratweiler or Chopweiler (I should see if I can get one). :D :D :D
As for the Sawvivor, I just got it and it is coming with me into the woods, this weekend. I've still got a large log that needs to be sectioned. MWHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
As for the RAT-1, I was gonna get it Satin, I've got the Flash II so might as well get a Blade folder. :D
You should definitely upgrade to a charge. I actually got mine at Costco. :D They do a combo where it comes with a 302 and some extra bits. It's called the Charge "SLV" but it really is just a Charge AL. It's a pretty good deal. I think it was just 100 bucks for everything. A container (fairly nice), extra bits, nylon pouch/sheath (carry only in closed though), 302 carabiner knife (not so bad, came really sharp), and, of course, the SLV itself.
And BTW, All of my knives are either used or abused. :D
The only exception is the Offset (which I'm desperately trying to trade or sell :( ). The Spec-bump also, but I have used it lightly.

Good look Sharp When using the Sawvivor just make sure you really tighten down on the blade. I had mine come off twice when i first started using it as when i really got into some hard stuff or wood that was not 100 bone dry the saw blade poped off one of the retainers. but after cranking it down it has worked flawless. Its a champ
Im going to throw my Super tool 200 up on ebay, in hopes for an upgrade to the charge. Sounds like a good package you got with yours. i have the Juice S2 i have been carrying as a EDC but for camping, hiking, backpacking a Charge would serve much better. Thanks for the info.
And yes everyone should have Chopweiler :thumb: (Get one now!!!)

Yep, I can't wait to test this saw out. I've heard many good things about the saw
Good luck getting the charge, it's an excellent buy. I love the saw on it :D It works really well and after a lot of sawing it still works like day one.
It's also nice having a decent plain edge blade steel, 154cm that and the fully serrated blade is just extremely useful.
