View Full Version : My Pile
Everyone else is posting their stuff, so ...
I'll post most of mine. I'd say that these pics will cover about 75% of my current knives (maybe 50% of current SAKs). I trade a lot though. I'm too lazy to hunt down the rest for pics. I'll start with folders, and post the rest shortly.
Traditional folders. I like 'em cheap and I like to have multiples.

Left to right (not including the SAKs, cause I don't remember the order I had them in. They are mostly Wengers. Wenger kicks Victorinox's butt. :p):
RR Baby Sunfish
RR Deer Slayer
2 Keen Kutter Stockmans
Imperial Stockman
2 RR Whittlers
Opinel #6
Another RR Baby Sunfish (absolutely gorgeous scales in person)
RR Trapper
RR small Stockman (my favorite)
Another RR Trapper
5 Schrade Old Timer Stockmans (US made carbon)
Another RR Deer Slayer
Locking folders. As you can tell, I like slippies better.

Seki Cut Folding Katana with green micarta scales and layered VG-10 blade.
CS Black Sable (This one's growing on me)
Fixed blades. I've got several more Moras somewhere. There's a few more folders included that were sitting with my fixed blades.

I had over 100 SAKs at one time. I've still got several more than pictured scattered around.
Anzas are fantastic. The Boddington is the most comfortable knife I've ever handled. John Greco's knives are a ridiculous bargain. Below production prices for custom knives that are said by many to be the toughest out there. The MST and the Dangler pictured are done in 8670, and the EDC is done in 52100.
Oops. Forgot I had these on me.

Wenger kicks Victorinox's butt. :p):
LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok seriously tho dude... Whoa about the SAKs...
Also your Big machete... Dunno if i'd call that a machete or a SWORD!
Geeez... Anyway nice pile of steel there man, you have some really well picked collectables- not many recent production knives tho ( I don't think so at least) - but there's nothing wrong with that at all!

Very nice collection. You need more Bussekin, lol
LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have been blinded by the vast SAK conspiracy :D. Wenger's have broader blades, serrated scissors, slip-joint pliers, better can opener, and the list goes on. Victorinox does have a prettier logo. :p

It's a beast for clearing grown up areas. I've accidentally swung it full force into hidden steel and only rolled the edge a little.

What's a collectible? If it hasn't been beat on then it's sole purpose is trade fodder. :)

Me and Busses don't get along in the ergos department. I've owned a few and just can't get as comfortable with them as others. I did like the handles on my SS4s, but they were a bit thick for such a small knife, not to mention butt-ugly. The SAR5 is the most comfortable Busse I've owned, but it's still not quite right.

Very nice(and big!) collection you got there,
though I don' t think Wenger kicks Victorinox' s but, actually since Victorinox bought Wenger, they have pretty equal quality now, but that belongs in a different thread I think:D

Well in that case you should see if you can hunt down an RMD. :D
I guarantee you will love the handles.
As a knife it's pretty much perfect in every spot. I love mine but sadly I'm gonna give it a little break.
DAMN !! You have a lot of knives. Very nice.
