im interested too, because i also have 1. bought mine several years ago at a flea market for about $55.
I picked one up new on the BF exchange. It is very comfortable and has a nice shape. Darrel Ralph designed it. The edge comes a bit thick for my taste, but that's easily remedied.
Mine came with a dented tip that I've been meaning to fix. S&W's 440c is hit and miss. I've snapped two of their folders under very minimal stress, but the fixed blade Noss tested took a beating.
There is an identical generic knife selling for around $10 most places. The sheath is even identical which is rare on these kinds of knockoffs. It's possible that these are the same knife, made in the same factory, without the S&W logo as I've seen done before.

Nicely done. FYI, R.O.C. stands for Republic of China.
