Lsutigers, I saw your posts on KF Fallkniven, sorry about the noobish replies you got there. People are becoming more and more paranoid somehow... Talk about Prozac Nation...

Mac, I love fire if you cant tell, Lol. I went backpacking this past weekend with minimal gear for shelter. I planed on building a couple survival shelters to test. Did a lot of wood processing with the 2 knives shown. Chopweiler and A2. Man are they 2 great knives. I can thank Pulseman for leaning me into the Fallkniven. Thanks again.

Any ways the shelters worked great and I had a nice fire going for 12 hrs straight. Took about 4 hrs of continuous wood processing. Ya you can bet i got some good practice with the knives. Nothing on earth is perfect but as far as fixed blades go these two are at the top of the mountain.

The Chopweiler is just a best that will do anything it is asked. Wood, concrete, metal you name it and it will do it. I have only used it on wood and metal cans so far. I like it too much to feed it anything more, but from test i have seen it will handle all listed. The combination of 19 oz, Diff heat treated steel slab with Micarta handles fastened Jerry Busse style make for a lil tank, thats her nick name.

The A2 is a wonderful design. You really have to handle this knife to get its full sense of glory. Nothing else will do it justice. It just feels perfect in hand. Fast and agile, Powerful and Strong. It sweeps limbs clear with a flick of the wrist and batons like a champion. And I know its Lam construction will not fail me. Combine this to a Awesome convex edge that so sharp yet strong. And you have a knife worthy of praise.
