i used to do the same thing until i found out i couldnt have some of the ingredients in salami. there was a brand in canada that was the best i have ever had. i would put some on pumpernickel bread and pig out.

Even better: Salami preserves really well when camping...

Take some out with you and eat it slice by slice after a quick roasting on the camp fire :) mmmmmm...
