Hello this is cutter. I`m a new member from Germany. Here is a list of my knifes:
1. Gerber Silver Trident with marks and double serration
2. Spyderco Forager
3. Cold Steel Magnum Tanto San Mai
4. Böker Eurofighter Damast (folding knife)
5. Chris Reeve Project 1
6. Puma Game Warden (folding knife)
My favourite knife is the Silver Trident. But the others do as well. I use them in the woods and do heavy duty tests because I`m interested which one is the most durable.
If you`ve got any of those knifes it would be great to hear of your opinion about them:D
Take care - knifes rock:rockon:

Hey Cutter!
Willkommen and happy Octoberfest! (started just this week in Ottawa Canada)
I agree with Man of Iron, nice Boker, and also welcome to the forum!
I would like to hear your experiences with the CR project one... do you think you could do up a review at some point?
Also we love pictures here =) (a quick look at the "odd crap" thread will tell you we love ALL pictures :) )
Thanks!

Thanks for your warm welcome. Special thanks to Man of Iron. Your German is very good. In Munich the Oktoberfest also started and I`m there with my police squad and doing patrols. I`m thinking of buying a Böker Tirpitz. I`d have more German knifes if the American ones weren`t that cheap because of the dollar. At the moment you get a good German knife at the price of 500-1000 euro which would be 750-1500 dollars. I`d like to post pictures of my knifes but my knowledge as far as computers are concerned is very low. But I got friends who know how to do that and hope you`ll see the pictures soon.
I used my CR Project One very hard in the woods and had only good experience up to now. Of course the test shown on this page was shocking but I hope I`ll never be in a situation where I have to knock on my knife with an iron hammer. Quality and materials when you look at the CR or its sheath seems to be very high. I like this knife very much but thats only my opinion. As shown in the test, facts are always better than opinions.

lol, I totally agree with you on the price issue - it's outrageous.
I wonder why Böker comes with the Bismarck/Hindenburg/Königstiger Damast:D
You might wanna get a Sjambok for the riot control, just got mine and it's a great deal of fun... not at the receiving end. The Dutch mounted riot police and South African riot police use Sjambok as well. Though a non-lethal weapon (intended to hurt and show who's the boss), if severe wounds left untreated, the micro-bleeding on large scale at the capillaries(tiny blood vessels) will eventually coagulate, thus making it a nasty way to die.
Your German is very good.
You kidding me??? Anyway, I might go to Solingen within weeks:rockon: good opportunity to catch up my German there. Meanwhile, gonna read some Kritik der Reinen Vernunft:eek:

Thanks a lot for your ideas for tough knifes still to buy. I also thik of the Busse knifes to be great. But on their homepage they got actually no knifes I`d like to have. Perhaps I have to wait till they got other knifes in stock.
But I just ordered a Fehrman Cold Fury with leather sheath. I was on their homepage for several times and their knifes looked very well made. As I only read of very pleased owners of Fehrman knifes in many knife threads I decided to order one. I hope it will be in Munich soon. When I got it, you`ll hear what it`s like.
Take care, yours cutter.
p.s.: the Sjambok is also a very good knife, but I hope we`ll never get conditions comparable to Southafrican Townships here in Bavaria. In Bavaria riots only start if the beer price is increasing :D

Played a bit with my new Sjambok and man wasn't it fun:D Had to learn using the shoulder to swing instead of the elbow, otherwise the forarm will catch all the stress. And what a damage it made on hard cardboard boxes:rockon: Tried a miminum wip on myself too, and being the fool I'm: don't try it on yourself, have a friend do it:p.
Back on knives, Fehrman is a good company from what I've observed though have yet experience with them. It sucks real bad with the new knife law and silly as hell.
Increased beer price... it will cause riots in 2/3 of the world I guess, and the last 1/3 had already revolted because they ain't got any:D
p.s. the Sjambok is not a knife, es ist eine Peitsche.
