Nice kitchen.

After I get a new battery for my camera(burned the other one out) I'll show you what a comp edge hell razor can do.
I've used and abused alot of knives but I was saying wow the whole time I was using that blade.

Richard J's skinner is the sharpest knife I own though, splits hairs like its nothing.

I use DMT stones and my new Tormek machine copy. I also have a lansky. The machine can get my knives scary sharp quick no matter what the steel is. I sharpened a piece of mild steel on it also just to see how it would work. I got it shaving sharp with no problem. It didn't last long though.

The machine doesn't work on small knives very well like small folders because of the holder. I sharpened the Rat RC-4 and the Glock field knife on it as well as my Busse FBM. My Busse has never been as sharp as it is now. The machine works great but it has some limitations. It was a great buy for 100 bucks.

Just comes with a thick edge, that combined with a thick and bulky spine and you have a aweful cutter.
It is the deffinition of a sharpened prybar though, you will NEVER break a ash-1.

I have a DFCG and its geometry was great so the son of a DF will probly be good.
After looking at alot of busse's and owning several and owning tons of scrap yards I find that scrap yard CG knives are ground better than Busse CG knives.

lsutigers1010,
Have you ever tried doing a standing paper cut test with newsprint instead of regular paper? I find it alot harder to do than with regular printer paper
