Can this be arranged? The idea is simple, a new member's post will only appear after approval of the mods. After certain of amount posts this restriction will then be lifted.

Best way to prevent trolls and spammers, but then it won't grant the mods their hard needed satisfation of banning...

it can be done but it seems kiahs on a roll so i dont think its necessary. i could ask noss to make you a mod too man of iron, that way you could ban the asswipes instead of running around asking where a mod is :p:D

it's a good security idea but not user friendly. New members may not stick around without instant gratification of seeing their writing on the wall. I haven't seen too many forums where they require a probation period of some sort.

No need to become a mod... to much virtual power, but I prefer "real" power, which i will obtain from my hippie-lobbying.

I know it's prohibitting new members to florish, but this is the singel effective way I've encountered so far in my carrier as spammer on other sites :p

As the fame/notority of KT grows, more (orchistrated) attacks will follow, and IP-ban can take care of such individuals. Random spammers/trolls are harder to get...
