I was a little surprised to see the Mora Clipper test. I enjoyed watching it. I suppose that is the same model that sportsmanguide (http://shop.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=78455) has been selling for a while now. I bought that one and liked it so much I looked around and got a few other similar models as well. The stainless steel models do rust a little in the dishwasher but so what. A little iron never hurt anyone, no pun intended.:)
Yes it is the Sportsman guide model. I bought a Mora 2000 I like it

Yeah, and i'm getting my scouts to make their own using Frosts Erickson blade blanks and a piece of wood that they harvest...
How's that as an intro to knifemaking? I'm also looking into getting them to Knap some stuff...

Sorry to bring this thread back form the dead, but i didn' t really want to open up a new one:o
Are there any plans for a Mora 2000 D-test? I think I remember you mentioning you might do a D-test on yours or maybe even a field test? Any plans?
No problem. Threads never truly die :D. as long as they aren't locked. Yeah I still want to D-test the Mora 2000. I love the knife and I want to see how far I can push it so yeah I'll still do it. Not sure when yet. Still trying to finish up that last three test knives before my break.

funny how the destruction of all those high end knives didn't bother me, yet i'm a little disturbed at the death of an M2K.
it's my #1 fixed blade. you can't beat it. it took the custom leather sheath i had made for the Busse SAR5. sold that knife, by the way.

The Mora 2000 is a great knife. It is hard to beat for things like making fuzz sticks and carving work. It's one sharp blade. :thumb:
