Yep, the U2 seems to get rave reviews all around. :rockon:

I've seen the blade listed at between 62-64 HRC. That's up into the hardenss range of a steel file. :eek: I'm glad they tell you to use a diamond plate to sharpen it right on the box. Could save people a lot of frustration and expense trying to sharpen it by other methods. :D

I have a U2 and though a diamond plate helps grind it thinner, it sharpens right up on a Norton waterstone or Spyderco Sharpmaker.

I have a TK4, sucker doesn't get much carry time, after it bit my at the 2nd day :D

63rc IIRC, SGPS (Super Gold Powder Steel) core, VG2 sides on the TK4, not sure on the U2.

Besides these lockbacks, Fallkniven also offers slipjoins and linerlocks, don't have experience with those personally.
