View Full Version : Scrap Yard Scrapper 6 Video Follow up to The Ranger Rd7
I see the Ranger Test is on the Scrapyard and Ranger forum. And I read the comments about the side tang impacts. They said it was not fair the scrapper 6 had the impact absorbing handle on it. Well BS.
I went outside and beat on the scrapper 6 without the handle in place. The scrapper 6 handled some very devastating blows and did not break. It took plenty of hit without breaking more then need to prove the point.
I just love to read some of the forum guys comments and how they come up with their conclusions.
I still havening problems with You Tube. So I uploaded it to Mega Video . I'll try You Tube again later. Click the link to view.

Also, I see one comment about the rating. I gave it four swords. This is the most I give when a knife makes it as far as the Ranger did.
I'm fixing the video. It is unwatchable in photo bucket.

I'm standing by noss!
:D
i read that comment too and it's just an all around tough knife (the s6) and it was beat on the spine with a hammer alot, so I don't see why it wouldn't be able to take the side tang impacts.
thanks.

wow, that did take some hard hits...
:D
didn't seem to perform any different either.
I knew it would without the Res-c handle. Busse SR77 is just so tough and strong.
If the Res-c handle deflects impact and it does it is just another plus for the knife anyways. It is part of the Scrapper 6

I saw the video. Cool. My ten cents worth. Why even remove the handle? If the handle stays on during the test so be it. If it comes off like wise. The tests to me include the whole knife not just parts. removing bits to even up the score doesn't count. In car race if a wheel falls off the others don't have to pull the wheels of their cars to make it even.
Now that's how you end a debate quickly. Video evidence. :D

all great comments, fellas. I know that all of you know why Noss posted the video with the scrapyard's handle removed...to silence some whiner that took the ranger's failure to perform personally, like a shot to his pride...or to his balls:D. some guys just can't stand to see their favorite knives not perform as they hoped. and of course, if the knife fails, it must be Noss and the great conspiracy that is KnifeTests.com. with our hidden agendas and trick photography we are truly to blame for a knife falling short of expectations. you can argue and argue, but in the end, the video doesn't lie. speaking of which, Noss is straightening up the shop right now. a couple of knives have been chosen for destruction and tonight, YES, two more will fall victim to KnifeTests.com. i hope these vids don't offend anyone....mmmmm, yeah I do:eek:

all I can tell you is..............................................I can't say......................LOL!!!!!!!:D I couldn't do that to you, brother. Noss is gonna test a "cheaper then dirt rough use knife" that retails for 10 bucks, and the Chris Reeve's Project. Next week, probably the bayonets in a simultaneous comparison test. There, now you know everything.

I've been waiting on the CTD test. If it beats the CRK, Noss had better stay off the big forums for a while .
