She is one hell of a blade. The handles are big and comfy. There are no hot spots on knife
anywhere. The choil is nice and rounded also. The edge is shaving sharp out of the box.


I will post some photos in a while and maybe some short video of it in action later tonight if I can.

No Jerry didn't give me the FFBM in the photo. He gave me the one in the D-test. I sent
the pieces back to him. I bought the blue handled one off of blade forums.

I don't know. It looks nice. It's on the small side for me. It should slaughter the ASH-1 as far as chopping though. They do seem like a a lot of Busse knife for the price. Has anyone on blade forums received one yet or are they still waiting to be shipped ? I haven't been on there much lately.

I am going to have to sweeten up the ash before I sell it though, thinking of stripping and convexing it and shaping the scales.

I have only cut very small trees down in the videos. They were only like 1.5 inches or so.
I think it was during the Browning field test.

I go camping in a national forest so I'm not supposed to cut down live trees. I cut a few small ones for a test but I have never chopped a big one down. I just chop on the ones that are already down. This I can do. Not that I couldn't get a way with it but I don't do it.

The biggest trees where I go are pine trees and they are fighting some type of pine disease up there. Most all the pine trees are burnt at the base. It's only the pine trees you see this. I guess it's something the forest service have done to control the disease. No matter how far you go back in the woods you see this. It's mind blowing to think
they came in there and burnt the base of every pine tree but it look like this is what they have done because it is only the pine trees. So I don't chop on the live pine trees there.
