k II is one wicked knife

yesterday a couple of bladeforum members stopped by. cjpgeyer and joesouth. it was joe's first time over and he wanted to learn how to use the wheels and learn how to grind a blade on a disc sander. after touching up a few blades for chuck and putting a convex edge on a couple of joes knives i done some chopping with k II on some red oak limbs about 2" in diameter. if my aim was better it wouldnt have taken long. joe went through rather quickly. joe was amazed the blade was still shaving sharp all over the blade. after cleaning the blade off i took half a piece of newspaper and poked a hole just above half way with the edge up. just by slightly bouncing the blade it cut through the paper. macgregor22, chuck and joe liked the regrind and edge on your outcast.

i got bored and decided to reprofile k II. it was scarry sharp to begin with but i wanted to make it even worse :D. i think it is almost as sharp as the knife in my latest video but with a stouter edge. i'll make a vid of it cutting free hanging newspaper. i just cut some 30# kevlar line which i compared to cutting regular sewing thread. koa, you could operate with this one.
