Are these just very expensive custom Cold Steel like knives... or something else altogether?

I have heard of the guy but don't know much else about him. Is he for real and just how good are his knives?

The maker should not have taken the money and returned it if he wasn't going to make the knife. Simple as that.

The quality, at least what I can observe from the photo: it ain't worth that much. I've seen Randalls too, and they ain't worth that much either. Shiva Ki has no right to ask this redicularly high price, especially it ain't got no HYPE halo mesmerizing the weak-chinned Knut wannabees.

Moreover, if this dude is conducting business with such curtesy... Cry Havoc and let slip the dogs of war.
