Does anyone make their own knives?

I started a few Strider like knives, but I don't have time to do much. I'm hoping to finish them soon.

I make knives. Mostly right now I am "practicing". I am heat treating myself, using a charcoal grill. I am using chainsaw guidebars, which end up being very tough. At least one of my knives went to Iraq. Another survived a moose hunt in which it did all the cutting tasks. A moose was harvested during the hunt. Which, by the way, is VERY good meat.

I will post some pics of my knives before long.
