What type of Lone Wolf? Also, what caliber is the vest rated without the plates?

Can you post pics of the lock engagement of your LWK's. I wanna see what the liner thickness looks, I've never handled any before.

Level 3a is good for the pistol range. I would need a level 4 on a crowded day at the range. Just an idea.

No thanks, not really my thing. I buy what I can carry. I prefer tactical folders in the 3.75-4.5 blade length. Love framelocks. Autos are cool too but I prefer D/A if I'm going to carry them.

You wear a vest to the pistol range... that's a good idea. You never know how stupid/nuts the guy next to you could be.

OTOH, what are you doing that could have you expecting rifle fire

My main rifle is a M40 M700 .308 (http://www.myculpeper.com/JDsako/M40b%20Resized.jpg). Yeah, I get a little nervous on the range if there is somebody I don't know shooting the same time I am and he has more than one weapon on the table. Makes me always think body armor may look stupid out here but not as stupid as that guy next to me. We have ranges out here that go out to a thousand meters. No range master unless it is an event. So, better to error on the side of caution. Just my luck I'll be down at the 500 meter silhouette to spray paint it black when I start receiving incoming from a jackass down range. We've never had a serious incident out here but there is always some jackass with a piece that has no business owning one. Just my luck we'll be there at the same time. Sometimes I will act like I'm taking a break until someone leaves if he makes me feel uncomfortable. Or even leave the range. I think it would send a strong message if the dude next you puts on a flak jacket after you arrive. The range is no place to be polite and PC where safety is concerned.

well, a matching set of plates can be had on the bay for under $200

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, the size is Med... but has a lot of room to expand via adjustment straps. The tag says 37-41 chest.

Oh yeah... the knife don't need to be NIB... it'll be user.
