It won't fit on the XD40? Give me a link to the Streamlight. Thanks. BTW, that green light is fucking badass to the bone.

oh no, pep, it will fit....I just want to put it on a brand new XDm40 :) like they have it on the cover of Guns and Ammo on the website, ya know?

What's funny is that I kept telling Noss that I really didn't need a laser for my pistols, then he showed me the viridian green laser, and not only do I really, really want that laser, but I've convinced myself that I need to go ahead and buy a new pistol to put it on...........it's a sickness, really, I can't help myself :D

You will still miss the target if you get this thing but it may help you a little but you need a lot before you start shooting bullseye's :p:p:D

Does that laser correct jams on an XD as well. Not that there is anything wrong with that....:)

Ooooo, ouch. Low blow there, pep, let's keep the gloves up, okay :D
I bought a XD subcompact 40 a couple of weeks ago, but haven't had time to fire it, yet. I took my XD 40 to my concealed carry class a few weeks ago....and it fucking jammed four times with fifty rounds of ammo. I asked a friend of mine (not Noss, he would just say to buy more Glocks) about the jams and he said the XD's were specifically made to handle the heavier hitting loads that Glocks can't...but I was still pissed off so I took 500 rounds to the range right after work one night and shredded a couple of targets. I had a jam on my first clip but that was the only one. I am gonna fire some heavier, hotter, self-defense rounds through it and see if the gun jams on those. After all, those are the rounds that really count, and if anything goes wrong with that, then I will take it to a gunsmith.

My XD has never jammed. It was some sort of freak accident on your's.

I'm thinking on trading my XD40 for a new XDM9. I want to change over all my weapons to NATO rounds and this is the last piece still on my shelf that needs swapped out. I'm meeting with a gun dealer next week. He has some XDMs in stock.

Definitely let us know if you end up getting that XDm. I want to hear your impressions. I have come so close to buying one of those at least three or four times. I have three springfields right now, the XD 40 4 inch, the 3 inch subcompact, and the XD 45 4 inch barrel. I keep telling myself just one more, and then I'll be good for a while, but who in the hell do I think I am fooling :D

I'm going to revive a dead thread. Jams are almost always caused by a bad magazine or ammo. I won't carry any gun that I haven't put at least 500 rounds through. And rotated through the mags. A mad magazine can cause you to have a really bad day when you needed it to work.

With that said I have a ton of Glocks and a few Xd's. For 40's the glock rules. For 45 acp the Springfield rules.
