I had one of those too. Blade poked through the sheath the first day I had it, wrapped it up with tape....some how the knife didn't break but I never was able to get it sharp and never used it for much of anything.

The handles were either plastic or aluminum. I had the plastic handle on mine. I don't remember how it broke but the plastic handle broke on mine and the blade was loose.
It had a nut that held the blade in place on the inside of the handle.

I was only about 11 years old when I got one and I was proud of it I remember. All my friends had one so it was fun. A few years later I got the Buck Master for Christmas. I still have it but no longer use it.

Alright !! World famous Ginsu. :D They sold millions of those knives due to these commercials but why would you cut a nail with a knife ? :confused: That is just abuse man, abuse I tell you !! :mad: of course try telling Ginsu this while they rake in millions.

I think I saw em as cheap as 2 for $10.....still not worth it, would have been better to spend the $10 on a SAK or save up another $5 or $10 and get something from Buck or Gerber, at least that way it wouldn't be money wasted.
