Took this 8 1/2' joker with my Benchmade Offsider, but lost my knife in the river getting him out! Couldn't even enjoy what I had done. I guess it was a draw!
Sorry for the poor quality of the pics, my son took it from the boat cause I wouldn't let him get off!

I will not try this again till I get the right knife. Still looking at Busse, but I believe I am going to go with a Horton CAMP BLOOD. As soon as I get some bills caught up, I am going to order one.
Busse has the new tank buster up on the website now. http://www.bussecombat.com/home/index.shtml I don't know much about Horton knives. Do you have a link to the knife ?

Hey Noss that tank buster looks awesome! Check out Horton knives on Blade Forums, go to makers, and you will see Horton. He has several variations on th Camp Blood, so check them out. I know you haven't tested one but I would like your opinion. You see a lot of Busse in his work, and he has the blade length I am looking for, 8". (.320" thick).

Sweet, awesome work :thumb:
IMO I think you should go straight to the top & replace that lost knife with a Busse. It's some crazy/incredible supersteel!
My last hunt. I took out 3 other(Not Bussekin) knives. All 3 went blunt pretty fast  . If it wasn't for my Busse NMFBM(hip knife on that hunt) I would not of been able to cape the rest of the stag out, plus take some meat. Long live Busse & INFI goodness
From my tests, & I've done a few now. I will now only buy Strider S30V, Swamp Rat SR101, Scrap Yard SR-77 & Busse's INFI for my hunting/camping duties! But that's me :D
