May have been an expensive week for you. But be glad you didn't waste your money on frivolous things like food.
Well lucky you. :p I look forward to the photos. I have always wanted one of the CS spikes.

I didn't... because I have no money left, and it's a long week 'till payday(thursday):rolleyes: Norries though, got enough supply, and there's a pack of MRE Country Captain Chicken(never tasted this one). Besides all that, I still have a unopened bottle of Johnie Walker Gold Lable :D:D

Beautiful collection. I just realised I have spent the last hour going over your pictures. I've never really looked at the Bokers before (reminds me I have a Boker mess kit I must add to my list) but those two fixed blades are certainly eye catching. They look solid and well made.
Outstanding wrap on the Bushman. I've never practiced fancy wraps. Something I must look into.

Thanks bro, I was expecting some comment on the wrapping:rolleyes: Nothing fancy, just playing infront of the tv..^^ And too lazy to unwrap it.
As for the Böker blades, I hope now you understand why I'm that crazy aboot them, especially the CLB line, little knives make you think they're huge!!! I highly recommend the SubCom, if you're lucky enough you can find them for less than 30USD, try NewGraham or something. AUS 8 blade, framelock, fits supurbly well both in large and small hands - what more do you want from such a tiny blade?;):D I gave 2 SubComs away as gifts, and I still want one
And EMF, please don't tell me you use your big blades while you're partying with you inflatable lifestocks:p
EDIT: Tac, if you have the budget, go look at the Böker Damascus blades, all make in Solingen Germany, escpecially LEO-Damast and the Tirpirtz Damast. LEO-Damast blades are folded using exclusive steel from the Leopard tanks, but wait 'till you hear aboot the Tirpitz... Steel dived from the Nordic Sea, of the Tirpitz battleship (sistership of the famous/notorious Bismark)!!!
And I just got rid off tow lesser blades today, so they're not on the pix, namely S&W HRT and Colt Police Positive. Besides those, the Ka-Bars and Opinels aren't there also. Check my pix http://s246.photobucket.com/albums/gg117/jww85/

I hope the guys driving the Leopards know they have some bits missing. I will be rennovating our pool in the future. Right now it is a swamp. At the bottom this swamp is a sunken plastic Airfix Tirpitz. Now if that isn't kizmet!
Tirpitz steel knives. Do I want to know how much they are?.........

It's better not, but just to make your day... worse, it's 850 USD for the Redneck tribe of the native Americans, and 569 EUR for us. Finally they did the calculating, not to our advantage, but to your disadvantage.
Regarding the Leopards, the steel is only from the BIG GUNS (read:canons), which are replaced after certain amount of shots.
Anyway, I think I'll need 2 months to recover from all these purchases and partying in the past few weeks:D:rolleyes::cool: Hopefully the Magnum Collection 2008 won't be delivered too soon, expecting the Hill Knives Dagger not before October. Now it's work, work, work, no fun things and cheap food.=[

I couldn't help it, I looked. I cried. I did find the price as low(!) as 637 USD. Now if I calculate the body weight of my kids who are only small and estimate how much food they require..................

lmfao, i was discussing this in the afternoon with the local military supply shopowner about it and then about the Hill Knives Dagger and then the original Fairbairn Sykes. I said:"I'd be more than willing to pay 10x the prices if it was use to kill a SS officer." He replied:" Yeah, and smell the blood." "Nasty smell indeed."
Nuff said, funny I was planning to get a SOG Fat Cat... all hope is lost now.

I have a third pattern F/S from WW2. I bought it for thirty dollars when I was eighteen. Today they sell for between 300 and 500 at gun shows. I think that is a bargain. Almost thirty years later the price is the same if you take into account wage rises over three decades.
Being young and silly when I bought it. The elastic retention strap on the sheath was worn out so I replced it with a leather strap and stud.
Old Photo.

LOL!!! is it a post war production with the same pattern or made during the war???
Tac45

It was made during the war. The other mistake I made was to blue the scratched up blade. Then again I would never sell it. There used to be an old gun shop run by a German guy in Sydney that used to sell lots of antique weapons. They had a batch of these at the time as well as some British spike bayonets from the early 1800's. They were twenty dollars each. I still remember because often I wish I had bought them. I did buy at the same time a pattern 1907 Lee Enfield bayonet. That was seven dollars.
